Mori Mayapple

Mori ( AKA Mina or Mandragorika ) is a Central PA native and self-taught artist with AuDHD who works primarily in the digital medium. They currently reside in NEPA with their partner and three cats. Inspired by folklore, Japanese anime, and video games - they lean into a whimsical but spooky vibe in their work.The Kaleidoscape is their brain child - blending the concepts of book clubs and art classes to create a free, accessible community for creators.

Brooke Walker

Brooke is a queer, disabled artist and writer from Northeast Pennsylvania. They are a self-taught digital photographer and collage artist, with a focus on self-portraiture, as well as abstract floral collage, under the name Brooke Walker Botanicals. They work with themes of death and grief, love and healing, and spirituality through nature.

This community is designed to support and encourage local creators, not trolls and immature behavior. Please treat others as you would want to be treated.

  • Do not discriminate against others because of their race, sexual orientation, gender expression, disabilities, or other characteristics.

  • Do not make offensive comments towards others or their work.

  • Do not offer criticism unless it is asked for.

  • Respect people's privacy. Do not harass others for private locations, addresses, or other information.

  • No soliciting commissions.

  • No venting or trauma dumping ( please keep this in private spaces with friends ).

  • Do not ping @everyone.

JOIN THE KALEIDOSCAPE TEAM

The Kaleidoscape of NEPA is currently accepting applications for moderators and co-organizers!As part of our little Motley Crew, your role would consist of minimum responsibilities such as: carrying out community guidelines and values, assisting members with questions and concerns, overseeing meetup organization if and when necessary, and helping the community grow and evolve through offering your own insight for the server or group activities, as well as advertising the community itself when and however you're able.We're hoping to have team leaders currently residing in various locations of NEPA to help with organizing outside of our main group in Scranton.
